Metal Fabrication Apprentice

We are very pleased to welcome Myles England to the Spar-tec team. Myles has recently started his Metal Fabrication Standard in conjunction with Southampton Engineering Training Association and will spend the first 20 weeks full time at the Engineering College. He will then return to our Workshop to continue his studies in the more traditional day release format completing an NVQ & BTEC qualification along the way to his Fabrication Standard qualification.

National Apprenticeship Week Feb’23

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Southampton Engineering Training Association (SETA) on Tuesday 7th February 2023. It was great to meet so many young people with a passion for engineering and talk to them about our apprenticeship vacancy for September 2023.

Once again, Spar-tec proudly supported SETA (Southampton Engineering Training Association Ltd) at another local school careers event. Our team were warmly welcomed by staff and students at Brookfield Community School to discuss all things engineering. This event came at a particularly exciting time as we start the search for our next apprentice – likely to be in Summer 2023.
